Mabbett, Chairman Alderman M.A. Thompson, Deputy Chairman V.G. Borch, P. Eng. ITEM I Re: Pedestrian Crosswalk ~ Shaughnessy at Fraser A request has been received from the Catholic Church on Shaughnessy Street for a pedestrian crosswalk for pedestrians and particularly children crossing this soon to be upgraded street to the church. The Committee recommends that a Pedestrian Crosswalk be established across Shaughnessy Street at the north side of Fraser Avenue. ITEM II Re: B.C. Hydro Bus Stops Discussions have been carried out recently with B.C. Hydro relating to the need to re-route existing Bus Routes 933 Lougheed and 187 Coast Meridian as soon as the Loughzed-Shaughnessy intersection reconstruction is completed. B.C. Hydro have indicated that it will be necessary to relocate the 933 Lougheed from the present Coquitlam Avenue - Flint Street route to a Shaughnessy - Prairie route and to relocate the 187 Coast Meridian from the present Coquitlam Avenue route to a Lougheed-Oxford route. Attached is a print of Dwg. No. 211-28 showing the new Bus Stop Locations for the revised routes. The Committee recommends that the revised Routes and Bus Stop Locations be: approved. Minor adjustments have been made to the Bus Stop Locations on Shaughnessy Street at Lions Way and these adjustments have been shown on the attached print as well.
