Rotary auction this weekend BUSINESSES | throughout the northwest have donated more than 300 items for the upcoming Rotary auction, this weekend, November 25 and 26. Bidding on the first item starts at 6 p.m. on Satur- day, and continues till 11 p.m. The next day the auc- tion runs from 2-10 pan. You can go down in person to have a look at the items up for bid at the Coast Inn of the West, or watch the:action live on Channel 10. The focal radio ‘Station will also be airing the auction. A full list of items up for bid appears on pages B6-7 of this week’s paper. Rotarians will be taking calls, making deliveries and selling items all day long. Last year’s auction raised $30,000, This year it looks like they might better that amount. The majority of the money raised from the auction is earmarked for the Rotary Reference Reading Room at the Terrace Public Library. If more than $20,000 is raised, the remaining money will go towards pro- grams such as the Pacific NW Music Festival, cub | scouts, soccer and more.
