classical concert violinists,
has played with major
symphonies all over the
world. On Soundstage he
performs the ‘Carmen
Fantasy" for viclin and
piano, based on the music of

Bizet's opera. He also
demonstrales his versatility
and enthusiasm for a wide
range of contemporary
music,

Jean-Luc Ponty earned
his current fame through his
work with his own group,
with Frank Zappa, and with
John. McLaughlin's
Mahavishnu Orchestra. For
