That Council pass a resolution authorizing the Planning Committee to prepare Development Variance Permit 96/93 under Section of 974 of the Municipal Act; and That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to sign the documents when completed subject to: a. Registration of a restrictive covenant on the proper.y to prevent conversion of a house to contain a secondary suite. The project being subject to the 1993 rates for Development Cost Charges; and Approval of subdivision by the Approving Officer. BACKGROUND: The owners of 3160 Oxford Ctreet have applied for a Development Variance Permit for the relaxation of the minimum lot width from 12.0 m to 11.8 m to permit a two lot subdivision. The lots have 37.186 m depth, which far exceeds the minimum of 28.0 m required under the Zoning Bylaw. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: At the Council Meeting of July 12, 1993 the Council passed a resolution supporting the rezoning from RS-1 (Large Lot Residential) to RS-2 (Small Lot Residential) to permit the subdivision of two new single famiiy lots.
