SUBJECT: Civic Recognition Policy

RECOMMENDATION:

SPORTS: May be awarded to an individual or team who places
first, second or third at the highest Provincial level or for
equivalent achievement.

BACKGROUND _& COMMENTS:

Attached is the present policy for Civic Recognition. Over the
past few years, the rules have been relaxed in terms of the
sports category. The Committee felt it was necessary to re-
word the sports award in order to bring it into line as to how
awards have been given.
