-2- screening, with poplars reputed to grow 5' to 10' a‘year, until evergreens reached desirable height, at which time poplars might be removed. that evergreen screening of at least 8'- or more be provided in the northern half of -the 10! strip, possibly with poplars intermingled, except where larger trees were felt required as in the 2 gaps in the northern half of the 10! strip aforementioned in Section 2) iii). The hope was expressed and Supported by Mr. Peter Arbuckle that large trees would be supplied to replace brush and trees removed from the City's 17' strip in two locations where sewer and Hydro lines were installed. that the City's bush-cutter leave the west side of Lancaster Street untouched this summer, if possible. If it must go there, it is asked that it carefully cut grass and not touch ‘bushes, shrubs, trees, such as young wild hazelnut cut in previous year and objected to by residents.
