Shideler, 1414 Barberry Drive spoke in support of trucks working in the area advising that trucks are necessary to bring supplies into the City and stated in his opinion houses and driveways are not always built to specification. Mrs. K. Albrecht, 590 Dominion Avenue stated in her opinion the amendment would not make a difference as the people do not pay attention to the By-law now in effect anyway. Mr. D. Elliott, 3551 Chestnut Street stated in his opinion if the area is agricultural it should be used for that purpose, if it is used for commercial purposes then it should be zoned commeretal and the people wanting agricultural use should move to another area. Mr. R. Watt, 3620 Devon Road referred to the City's application to have land removed from the ALR and left in a future Industrial zone and stated truck traffic will be increased In the future. Mrs. K. Muldoon, 346 Laurier Avenue spoke in support of the people working in the agricultural area as farmers and stated in her opinion she would agree to having the tractor unit of a diesel truck parked on someone's property for protection and maintenance, but not wlth the trailers or more than one such unit on the property. Mr. J. Sullivan, 3551 Devon Road referred to the use of trucks delivering feed to the farms and atated In his opinion trucks are a necessary part of farming. Mrs. C. Rayner, 807 Dominion Avenue advised the truck traffie does not affect her home. One gentleman expressed the opinion people should be free to Live on thelr property us they wished. Mr. Frank Rayner, 807 Dominion Avenue spoke in support of truck storage on his property and stated in his opinian damage 18 caused by loaded trucks working on new houses, Mr. F. Wonnacott, 2764 Burns Roud, referred ce the vibration of vehicles travelling along the road and stated in din opinion cars cause more vibration than trucks.
