Re: George Ulmer - Annual Conference -
Governmental Refuse Collection and
- Disposal Association Inc.

We have received notification that the Annual GRCDA
Seminar will be held in Calgary August 29th to September Ist,
1978. George Ulmer has followed this seminar in the past few
years and he has requested authority to attend this conference.
Registration is $85.00 and there would be the regular per diem
expenses.

I do not have the complete program detaiis, however,
the technical sessions. include information on vehicle and equip-
ment specifications, route collection design, resource recovery,
management labour relations, landfill operations, and disposal
of hazardous waste. Many of the topics will be pertinent to
George's work with the City.

I would recommend that George be authorized to attend
and his expenses paid. .
