Alderman Traboulay asked that signs ‘be placed in appropriate places advising motorists of the possible disruption of traffic. From the City Engineer, October llth, 1979 advising of the changes which had been carried out regarding Energy Saving in the City's buildings. Alderman Ranger expressed concern regarding the lighting on the ice surface in the aranas and Alderman Mabbett advised the lighting levels had been reinstated. Alderman Ranger advised the Public Works Committee will be looking at the conversion of two vehicles to Propane as an energy saving procedure. NEW BUSINESS: Alderman “‘-aboulay spoke regarding the letter written by Alderman Mabbett to Premier Bennett concerning the allocation of the site for the new Provincial Court Building. Moved by Alderman Traboulay: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Council concur with Alderman Mabbett's October 17th, 1979 letter to Premier Bennett regarding the allocation of the site for the new Provincial Court Building. Carried. Alderman Traboulay asked for clarification on a report received from the School Board. The City Planner advised he is examining the report now.
