Skiers master Shames

MORE THAN 30 skiers tumed out for the 4th Annaul
Masters Race at Shames on January 20 and 21 despite the
chilly early morning temperatures,

Numbers were much lower than they have been in past
years, but organizers are calling the event a great success,

Terrace’s Scott Siemens finished first in Saturday’s giant
slalom with a combined time of 1:23.50 after two nuns,

In Sunday’s slalom Robert Schibli, also of Terrace edged
out Siemens by 1/100th of a second for the top time of
1:00.79 after two runs.
