Further equipment tenders will be forwarded to you as they are received through the Purchasing Dept. | The following equipment recommendations are summarized for ‘your review and approval prior to purchasing : | The lowest tender meeting the required specifications for the mini dump truck was received from Dam's Lincoln Mercury Sales at $30,375.15. (Ford F350) Tenders for a flail mower were received by two suppliers, Rollins Machinery and Friesen Equipment. Although Friesen Equipment Ltd. provided a lower bid than Rollins, the upset cost to the City with the trade in of our old flail mower is less expensive with Rollins Machinery. In addition, Friesen Equipment Ltd. is not an authorized dealer of Tiger Mowing Equipment, which may present servicing problems and parts availability i in the future.
