ANNICO DISPOSAL SERVICE, LTD,, 1960 Prairie Ave., Port Coquitlam, B, C, May 25th, 1977 City of Port Coquitlam, Engincering Dept., 2272 McAllister Street, Port Coquitlam, B. C. TRENCH BURNER PROJECT Dear Sirs It is our proposal to the City of Port Coquitlam to lease a portion of land to set up a trench burner, There are many reasons for setting up this project, the main cne being: the locations for disposing of atunps and demolished buildings are running out and some of tho existing places will not take this type of material, the onos that do are sometimes too far away and are too expensive to haul or transport this type of material to these locations. The proposed pisce of land to be used has as vet not been clearad. We will ba responsible for building a read, building a bridge over a small stream, clearing a large area in the centre and leaving a green belt around the perimeter to concoal our operation from the public eve. We will also, require permission to put a mobile home at tha entrance for a caretaker, who will be responsible for collecting disposal fees, It is our intention to open this facility to the public as well, if so, the Citv may wish to close their dump down proséntly located on Welcher Stroet. We would accant grass, troes, tree prunnings, wood, lumber or anvthing of this nature that could be burnt without causing pollution, We would like this project ona five~year plan, due to the cost of setting up this operation, subject to review between the City of Port Coquitlam and Annico Disposal Service Ltd. vaarly. When this operation is open to the public it will be based ona six dav week - Monday to Saturday 6:00 A.M. to 5:00 P. M., cloned Sundays and Holidays. However, once the operation has been established we may have it extended to seven days a week,
