Re: May Day Parade Float

Pursuant to the instructions of Council we requested four firms in the display

supply business to submit tenders for the City's 1973 May Day Parade Float. A photocopy

of our letter of February 9th, 1973 is attached and the names of the four firms are

located at the top thereof,

At the'time for closing of tenders (4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 22nd, 1973) two

submissions had been received: from Mansueto Display Associates and Delft Display and

Siens and photocopies of these submissions are attached for the Council's information.

Pacific Display Systems Ltd. advised that they did not supply parade floats.
