Peewees take fourth The Terrace Westar Peewee’s record of two wins and three losses at the 14-team Peewee minor hockey tourna- ment in Kerrisdale last weekend, resulted in a fourth place finish overall. Terrace started off by beating Williams Lake 4-1. Then they downed the host team 6-5 before losing 10-3 to Vernon. In their last two games on Sunday, Terrace was defeated 10-3. by Kamloops and 4-1 by Kerrisdale. B.C. Summer Games playoffs begin soon It seems like only yesterday that organizers and participants were deeply involved in the B.C. Winter Games at Terrace, and now we have 31 sports starting to crank up for Summer Games in Cranbrook, July 10 to 13. Zone Seven playoffs are to be held from now til the end of June to select individuals and teams for attendance in Cranbrook, Only a few have been organized so far.
