THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM

BYLAW NG. 2500

A Bylaw for the levying of rates for Municipal, Hospital,
and Regional District purposes for the yeer 1990.

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in
open meeting assembled, anacts as follows:

1. The following rates are hereby imposed and levied for the year 1990:

(a)

For all. lawful general purposes of the municipality on the assessed
value of and improvements taxable for general municipal purposes,
rates appearing in column "4" of tha Schedule attached hereto and
forming a part hereof.

For debt purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements
taxable for general municipal purposes, rates appearing in column “5'
of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof.

For hospital purposes on the assessed value of land and improvements
taxable for regional hospital district purposes, rates appearing in
column "C™ of the Schedule attached hereto and forming a part hereof.

For purpose of Greater Vancouver Regional District on the assessed
value of and improvements tazable for regional hospital district
purposes, rate appearing in column "D” of the Schedule attached
hereto and forming a part hereof.

The minimum amount of taxation upon 4 pareel of real property snall be the
amount provided by statute.

(a) At the close of business on the 6th day of July, 1990 the
collector of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam shall
add to the unpaid taxes of the current year, in respect of each
parcel of laad and the improvements thereon upen the real
property tax roll, five percentum (5%) of the amount then
remaining unpaid.

At the close of business on the 7th day of September, 1990 the
Collector of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam shall
add to the unpaid taxes of the current year (exclusive of the
five percentum addition authorized by subsection (a) of this
section), in respect of each parcel of land and the improvements
thereon upon the real property tax roll, a further five
percentum (5%) of the amount then remaining unpaid.
