Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Ranger: That the Chamber of Commerce be advised that $1,000.00 will be placed in the 1981 budget to cover the City's share of the cost of revisions and printing of the Community Map of School District No. 43. Ranger, From Alderman P.F. Ranger, July 25th, 1980 advising that a local 25/80 re Raising Fox, Cancer businessman is spearheading a fund raising drive for the Canadian Cancer Society - Terry Fox account and suggesting that the City prepare and install signs showing the fund objective and the funds raised te date and secondly, that the Clty donate the use of factlities to assist any groups wlshing to host fund ralsing events. Discussion then ensued and Alderman Mabbett suggested putting a sign on the City owned property at Pitt River Road and Shaughnessy and on the City owned property near the Centennial Pool, Aldermen Keryluk and Gates concurred that diseussaton of the use of City facilities should be referred to Committee and he discussed along with the report from the Parks and Recreation Ceammittee.
