ITEM NO. 3 - Dalkey Building The Leisure Activities Committee has in the past, discussed the upgrading of the Dalkey Building in terms of fire regulations. We have been aware that the Dalkey Building does not meet certain Standards. A report was done by the Fire Prevention Officer in February, 1978 outlining the things that have to be done in order to meet minimum standards under the Fire Marshall Act and National Building Code. ~ please see attached report with regard to upgrading standards of the Dalkey Building. Also attached, please find a report from the City Engineer to the Administrator Stating the costs required in order to bring the Dalkey. building up to regulation standards.
