A By-law to authorize the expenditure of monies in the Tax Sale

Lands Reserve Fund.
WHEREAS there is an unappropriated balance of $539,245.40 as at
February 23rd, 1976 in the Tax Sale Lands Reserve Fund consisting of monies

received from the sale of tax sale Properties including interest earned

thereon and set aside in accordance with the provisions of Section 304 of
the "Municipal Act", which amount has been calculated as follows:
Balance in Reserve Fund at December 31, 1974 $92,797.91

Add: Additions to fund including interest
earnings for 1975 and for the current
‘year to date . $446,447.49

Balance in reserve fund at February 23rd, 1976  $539.245.40
AND WHEREAS no sinking funds have been or were required to be

established;

AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to expend from the amount so
set aside the sum of One Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Six Hundred Eighty~eight
Dollars and Five Cents ($161,688.05) for purchase of real property;

AND WHEREAS the approval of the Minister of Municipal Affairs has

been obtained;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of . The’ Corporation of the City
of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
1. The sum of One Hundred Sixty-one Thousand Six Hundred Eighty~eight
Dellars and Five Cents ($161,688.05) is hereby appropriated from the Tax Sale
Lands Reserve Fund for the following purchases of real propertys.

(a) Parcel 1, Lot p, District Lot 174, Group One,

Plan 5086, New Westminster District, having .

the civic address of 2650 Wilson Avenue $ 50,308.30

_Lot A of Lot 1, Block E, District Lot 380, Group

One, Plan 11048, New Westminster District,

having the civic address of 3215 Lancaster

Street 75,067.09

Loc 200, South-east Quarter Section 7, Township

40, Plan 36681, New Westminster District, having
the civic address of 1065 Lynwood Avenue 36,312.66

$161,688.05

2. The expenditure to be carried out by the monies hereby appropriated

have been more particularly specified and authorized by resolution of the
