Street, Port Coquitlam, on Wednesday, February 23, 1994 at 5:15 p.m. in Committee Room @2.

Committee revieued information package. Deputy Engineer noted that the City has already
written a letter to E.C. Hydro in support of Port Moody.

Committee received this report for information. Any comments should be forwarded to the
study group. Councillors requested a copy of the summary report from the public meeting held
(Western Canada Wilderness).

Draft Letter to B.C. Environment - Contsininated S tes Leuislation
Committee reviewed draft letter to L.T. Hubbard of B.C, Environment in regards to
the Contaminated Sites Legislation and Regulations Pursuant to the Waste
Management Amendment Act, 1993 (Bill 26). Committee approved the draft letter
but noted that carbon copies should be sent to M. Sihota, Minister of Environment,
M. Fsrnworth, MLA and R. Taylor of the UBCM.
