The Minutes of the Environmental Protection Committee Meeting held
on Wednesday, March
31, 1993 were considered, read and adopted.

The Project Engineer's report reviewed 3 options for an initial City wide
Composting program.
FoLtowing review and discussion it was agreed that option 2 be
recommended.
Attached is a
copy of the report prepared by the Project Engineer. It was suggested that the anticipated
cost
savings and resultant net cost be identified and included in the report. The
report to be
forwarded to Council for discussion at the scheduled budget meeting.
