A By-law to authorize the use of the unexpended balance of monies

borrowed under the "Fire Truck Short Term Capital Loan By-law, 1979, «MAR. -2 1981

WHEREAS under the "Fire Truck Short Term Capital Loan By-law,
1979, No. 1641" the City borrowed the sum of $195, 000. 00 for the purpose
“of purchasing an Eighty-five Foot Aerial Platform with 1050 Quintuple
- Combination Pumper, Booster and Hose Truck;
AND WHEREAS all commitments for which the ,monies realized from the said

Agreement have been met and fulfilled, and ‘there remains unexpended the sum

of $18, 156.56 together with bank interest thereon;
AND WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and expedient to use the monies to

assist in defraying the cost of purchasing a new fire truck presently on

order; . . :

‘NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The: Corperation of the city of

Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:
‘La That with reference to the "Fire Truck Short Term Capital

“Loan By~law, 1979, No. 1641" the balance of the funds new on hand in

truck presently on order and that authority be hereby granted to do all
things necessary in connection therewith. . .
2. This By-law may be cited for ail purposes as.the "Additional Fire

Truck Purchase From Fire Truck Short Term Capital Loan By-law, 1979, No.

1641 By-law, 1981, No. 1805".
