The following are the traffic violation statistics for the month of April 1975. MOTOR VEHICLE ACT VIOLATIONS 206 RADAR: 914 CRIMINAL OODE (Traffic) 8 PARKING VIOLATIONS 0 ‘GENERAL COMMENTS ON LOCAL CRIMINAL & DRUG ACTIVITY During the-month of April, 1975, a total. of four adults and no juveniles were charged with offences under the Narcotic Control Act’ and Food & Drugs Act. ‘Though this figure is well below previous months, it should not be taken as a shortage of drugs in the area. Drugs of all types are still readily available. wo One complaint of rape was reported during the month. This took place on the 5 APR 75 and occurred on Austin Avenue near the Vancouver Golf Course. Person responsible is still unknown. Other major occurrences: 8 APR 75 ~ Armed Robbery, Bank of Montreal, 2564 Shaughnessy Street, Port Coquitlam. Robbed by a female, who, together with her husband, was arrested shortly after the offence. The two subjects have admitted responsibility for seven other bank robberies in the New Westminster and Surrey areas, Both are presently before the Courts. 23 APk 75 —- Armed Robbery, Pay and Save Service, 803 Brunette Avenue, Coquitlam, Robbery committed by two East Indian males armed with a knife. Persons responsixvle not apprehended. During the month of April there were 63 residential and 16 busines’ breaking and enterings, Eleven adults were charged with breaking and entering offences.
