Eng., FILE: EST 214/PWC Deputy City Engineer SUBJECT: COST SHARING OF ROAD PAVING - 1960/90 COQUITLAM AVENUE (Public Works Committee Meeting of September 28, 1993) RECOMMENDATION: 1) That the City expend $5,235 towards the reinstatement of the northern portion of the road pavement in front.of the developments, between 1960 to 1990 Coquitlam Avenue. That Council allocate $5,235 from Special Public Works Capital Reserve Fund for this purpose. BACKGROUND & COMMENTS: The Public Works Committee considered the proposal to reinstate the remaining one metre of Coquitlam Avenue from Cambridge Street approximately 110 metres east, fronting the developments between 1960 to 1990 Coquitlam Avenue. The southem portion of this roadway was replaced as part of the development. An estimate of $5,235 plus G.S.T. was provided by Jack Cewe. The work would include sawcuting, removing and repaving. As the northern half of Coqritlam Avenue at this location is in poor condition the Public Works Committee agreed that it would be appropriate to have this remaining pavernent width repaved, attached is Plan A showing the area to be reinstated. oo” 7? _ KRISS J.E.
