Dear Mr. Pollock:

Purther t6 our conversation of October 18, 1977, regarding the
placement of a Vancouver Sun Substation on property owned by the
City of Port Coquitlam, namely 3253 Sefton Street.

At present we are located on ‘property owned by the 7-11 Stores
Limited, but due to the problems which have arisen at this location
we are moving so they can clear the property.

¥e are prepared to pay the city $30.00 a month for the use of
the property. The building is on skids and placed on cement blocks
so 25 to remain movable. Our use of Substations helps to keep your
city free of newspaper wrappers and wires.

Hoping this will meet with your approval I have enclosed a
standard Rental Agreement. .

Hereby enter into a ground rental agreement for a
newspaper station. The same to be situated in the City of Port
Coquitlam located at 3253 Sefton Street, Port Coquitlam, B.C.

fhe buiiding shall be kept in good repair and well
painted and the site shall be kept free of garbage.

; Quarterly rental shalI be $90.00 payable in advance
commencing on November 1, 1977. It 4s also agreed and understood
that this agreement is on a thirty (30) day basis subject to forty-
five (45) days notice of cancellation of either party.

It is also agreed that Pacific Press Limited will te
fully responsible for Public Liability at the substation sit
as named above.
