Cent inial Christian 1 School—Located within the city of Terrace at
he’ corner’ of - Straume. and. Sparks Streets, is ‘the’ Centennial .
Christian School. This school was organized in 1967.to meet the —
community: need of Christian instruction. The institution is parent-
controlled , and at.the present time it has an enrolment of sixty-._
eight - students. A well-equipped three-room building has been
erected, and the school provides a B.C. approved curriculum for
‘grades one thru seven, directed by - well-qualified teachers.

* rate and by the gifts of its: supporters. Non-denominational in
Character, the school is open. to parents who feel the need of |

Veritas Catholic School is a private school which was opened i in 1959"
in-Terrace. The approximate enrolment is 190 students and 9
instructors ‘with classes from grades 1-7, The school is under the.
Sister of St. Joseph of Toronto. Veritas is relocating on Straume.
Avenue and will have 8 classrooms, an auditorium-gym, a resource
centre-library. plus administrative offices.
