The Fédération des parents (BC Franco- phone Parents Federation) offers a workshop that can help you. In part- nership with Francophone schools and preschools, we offer parents a unique opportunity to meet other parents and couples in the same position as you for an enjoyable and informative evening. During the workshop, we'll look at some of the challenges you face - and we'll explore a few solutions, too! The program includes information, individual reflection and group discussion. The workshop was developed in co- operation with Glen Taylor, author of the guide for intercultural families “!’m with you!” and “Fusion” (the new and im- proved version of “!’m with you!”). The ses- sion is led by the ExTeam, a team of anglo- phone parents of students enrolled in a francophone school or preschool - these people have been in your situation. If you are interested in this workshop, ask your parents’ association or school ad- ministration to plan an ExTeam workshop. You may also contact the Federation's office directly. The Federation will put you in contact with one of the ExTeam mem- bers who will help you organize the ses- sion. The Federation covers all expenses related to facilitating the workshop. So there is no reason not to take advantage of this service. A simple telephone call is all that separates you from a resource that has already helped many parents!
