Recommendation:

That the proposed schedule of admission rates and rental charges be adopted, and;

That the proposed schedule of admission rates and rental charges be implemented effective
May 20, 1994, and; |

That a full review and revision of the existing fees and charges policy be conducted in
1994. |

Purpose/Problem

To provide information and a recommendation for consideration by the Parks and
Committee regarding a proposed schedule of admission rates and rental charges
for 1994. | |

2.0 History/Background

2.1. The schedule of admission rates and rental charges was last revised in 1991. The
- increase in 1991 averaged 4% plus the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax
on most fees. | | are

As you will see, our fees are on the "low end" in most cases and it is expected that
the policy review proposed later this year will address this issue. a |
