in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New
Westminster District, in exchange for sufficient land to
relocate the said roads.

WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam is desirous of cancelling
portions of Road shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New
Westminster District in the City of Port Coquitlam In the Province of British
Columbia;

AND WHEREAS the Registered Owners of the land described in Section 2 of this Bylaw

have agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising
the portions of Road shown dedicated in District Lots 232 and 340, Group One, New
Westminster District to be cancelled;

AND WHEREAS the "Municipal Act" being Chapter 290 of the Revised Statutes of British

Columbia, 1979, provides that the Counci! may by Bylaw dispose of any portion of a

highway in exchange for such lands as may be necessary for the purpose of improving,
widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway;

NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam,

in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is hereby authorized to convey to the
Registered Owner of the lands described in Section 2 of this Bylaw, ALL AND SINGULAR
those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particulariy

described as follows: _

(a) All that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 2529, District Lot 340, Group
One, New Westminster District shown hatched on a referet.ce plan certified by D.J.
Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 24th day of January, 1986, a

copy of which is attached hereto;

(b) All that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 1786, District Lot 340, Group
One, New Westminster District shown hatched on a reference plan certified by D.J.
Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 24th day of January, 1986, a

copy of which is attached hereto;

All that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 5087, District Lot 232, Group
One, New Westminster District shown hatched on a reference plan certified by D.J.
Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 24th day of January, 1986, a
copy of which is attached hereto;

(c)

(¢) Ail that portion of road shown dedicated on Plan 2111, District Lot 232, Group
One, New Westminster District shown hatched on a reference plan certified by D.J.
Dyck, British Columbia Land Surveyor, and dated the 24th day of January, 1986, a

copy of which is attached hereto;

at or for the price or sum of $47,295.00 and in exchange for those certain parce!s or
tracts of land described in the next Section hereof.
