WHEREAS The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam is desirous of cancelling portions of road and lane shown dedicated on Plans 2106 and 2137, District Lot 255, Group One, New Westminster District in the City of Port CoquitjJam, in the Province of British Columbia; AND WHEREAS the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law has agreed to convey the said land to the City in exchange for the lands comprising the portions of road and lane to be cancelled; AND WHEREAS the “Municipal Act" being Chapter 255 of the Revised Statutes of British Columbia, 1960, provides that the Council may by By-Law dispose of any portion of highway in exchange for such lands ae may be necessary for the purpose of improving, widening, straightening, relocating or diverting the highway; THEREFORE the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. The City of Port Coquitlam is-hereby authorized to convey to the Registered Owner of the land described in Section 2 of this By-law ALL AND SINGULAR those certain parcels or tracts of land and premises which may be more particularly described as follows: (a) All chat portion of Lane in Block D, Distzict Lot 255, Group One, New Westminster District as shown dedicated on Registered Plan 2106, included within the green outline on By-law Plan sworn by Walter E.
