The 5th (BC) Field Regiment/56 Battery, Royal Canadian Artillery, is offering part time and
summer employment to physically fit men and women who are looking for extra cash, challenge,
excitement and an opportunity to serve their country. ;

To be considered eligible you must: We provide:
¢ Be of good character and submit to a security : peg rations and accommodations during

screening; : :
4 ¢ All uniforms and equipment,

* Paid part time and full time (summer usually) training,

no experience necessary; -
_ © Opportunity to serve with Regular Force in support of

Canada’s UN commitments;

* Dental plan, partial medical coverage and group life
insurance;

*Leadership training; and

* Scaled rates of pay-according to rank and
qualifications.

¢ Be at least 16 years of age by July first in the
year of enrollment; :

e Have completed 6 grade 10 credits;

e Meet Canadian Forces medical '
standards; and

-¢ Be a Canadian Citizen or

- landed immigrant.
