Kirk City Administrator Protective Services Committee Amendments to “City of Port Coquitlam Traffie Regulation Bylaw Ne. 1117" ‘TON: That the City Clerk be instructed to prepare a Bylaw to amend the "Traffic Regulation Bylaw No. 1117" by adding the following sections: "1164 Private Parking Lot means any area of land, or land and building, which is used for the purpose of providing automobile parking facilities for members of the public, but does not include an area where such parking is an ancillary use to a one family dwelling.” "405 No person shall cause a vehicle to be towed from a private parking lot unless, at the time such vehicle is towed, a Directional sign or signs complying with the requirements of Section 406 of this Bylaw are permanently installed and displayed in the parking lot. 406 Directional Signs required by Section 405: shall be of minimum size of 30.5 centimetres (12 inches) by 45.7 centimetres (18 inches) with letters and numbers not less than 2.5 centimetres (1 inch) in height; shall be clearly visible at all times; shall be ‘conspicuously posted at all entrances to and exits from the parking lot; shall be displayed no further than 30 metres (98.4 feet) from any area of the parking lot; shall clearly state the conditions under which the parking of the vehicle will be considered unauthorized; shall display the name and telephone number of the towing company that may remove unauthorized vehicles from the parking lot, asa well as the address of the impoundment lot to which they will be towed.
