the required distance is reduced to six inches.

No person shall place any combustible liquid into
any container unless the container meets the
requirements of Subgection 4.2.3. of the Fire Code.
At no time shall more than 25 litres of such liquids
be stored in such containers on one parcel of Land.

No person shall store any combustible liquid in a
damaged or leaking container.

Except for the quantities permitted to be stored by
Section 2.4.2 of this Bylaw, no, person shall store
a Fire Code Class I or Class ITI flammable liquid in
a place other than a garage or gas station without
a permit first having been issued by an Officer whc,
before issuing such permit shall investigate whether
the applicable provisions of this Bylaw and the Fire
Services Act and the Regulations made thereunder
nave been complied with.

Every owner and occupant of an area where
combustible liquids are stored, received, oF
dispensed shall post. adequate "NO SMOKING" signs in
conspicuous places on the premises.

Every owner and occupant of premises where
combustible liquids are dispensed shall display in
a conspicuous place on the premises 4 sign showing
the requirements of Article 2.4.2 of this Bylaw in
their entirety.

No person shall use Fire Code Class I or Class II
combustible liquids for cleaning floors, walls,
furniture or woodwork within any building.

No stationary internal combustion engine using
flammable liquids as fuel shall he installed or used
in any building.

There shall be maintained in every store which
handles paint or oil for sale or use, at least one
approved fire extinguisher, to he kept at all times

in good repair and available for immediate use.

The owner and occupant of every gas station shall
on maintain in good and efficient working order one
or more approved fire extinguishers on the premises.
The number and locations of such fire extinguishers
may ke increased and determined in accordance with
