( 0 U ae AUS 1 3 1990 THE CORPORATION OF THE CITY OF PORT COQUITLAM AUG 27 1900 BYLAW NO. 2532 A Bylaw to exempt from taxation certain real property owned by the Port Coquitlam Senior Citizens' Housing Society. WHEREAS the Port Coquitlam Senior Citizens’ Housing Society is the registered owner of Lot 1, District Lot 289, Group One, Pian 85086, New Westminster District; AND WHEREAS a portion of this property was formerly exempt from taxation pursuant to the provisions of Section 398(i) of the Municipal Act; AND WHEREAS due to a consolidation of property owned by the Society in the area the statutory exemption from taxation will now apply to a smaller area consisting only of certain buildings and the land upon which they stand; AND WHEREAS it is desired to continue the exemption from taxation on the Same basis as in previous years; NOW THEREFORE the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: The exemption from taxation provided by Section 398(i) of the Municipal Act to Lot 1, District Lot 289, Group One, Plan 85086, New Westminster District, is extended to include all of that parcel that was formerly contained within the boundaries of Lot 107, District Lot 289, Group One, Plan 37752, or Lot 109, District Lot 289, Group One, Plan 40623, New Westminster District. The area extent of the exemption described in this Bylaw is shown on the attached Schedule "A" which is attached to and made a part of this Bylaw. This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the “Hawthorne -fanor Property Tax Exemption Extension Bylaw, 1990, No. 2532”. FINAL READING —
