From the Director of Community Planning, May 8th, 1990 regarding Official
Community Plan ~— Re~formating and Re-organization Development Permit Areas.

It is recommended that Council approve the following re-formatting,
re-organization and addition of explanatory text to the “Official Community
Plan Bylaw, 1986, No. 2162", Schedule "A", to prepare the plan for the
insertion of Development Permit Areas that Council may approve from time to

time:

1. Page 3 of Bylaw No. 2162 to be deleted and replaced by the attached pages
3 and 4. The page numbers of the balance of the plan to be adjusted
accordingly;

Page 4:
The Title "1. Introduction” to be modified to read "Introduction" ;

The sentence "1. Nature of the Plan", to be deleted;

The line "1.1 Purpose" to be modified to read "1, Purpose of the Plan"

The line "1.2 Plan Organization" to be amended to read "2. Plan
Organization" ;

Page 6:

The line "2. Development Strategy” to be replaced by the line "I.
Development Strategies";

The line "1. Development Strategy Objectives” to be inserted prior to the
paragraph: "The Official Community Plan Policies...For the Plan";

The line "2. Urban Design Strategy”, to be inserted prior to the paragraph
"within this objective the City .... of the City";

The line "3. Goals and Objectives” to be replaced by the line “II. Goals
and Objectives"

The line "3.1 Goals of the Community Plan are:" to be replaced the line
"1. Goals"; .

The line "3.2 Objectives of the Community Plan are:” to be replaced by the
line "2. Objectives”;

The line "4. Plan Policies" to be replaced by the line “III. Plan
Policies";

The paragraph "4.1 This section contains... in sections 2 and 3." to he
modified to read "This section contains the ... in sections 2 and 3."3
