A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of
Port Coquittam was held in the "Campbell Room", Best Western Poco Motor Inn,
1545 Lougheed Highway, Port Coquitlam, B.C. on Monday, November 9th, 1987, at
7:30 p.eme

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.C. Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J
Keryluk, G.R. Laking, WW. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance.

A:so in attendance were City Administrator B.R, Kirk, City Clerk R.A.
Freeman, Director of Community Planning W.A. Brown, City Treasurer J.G.
Maitiand, City Engineer F.E. Peters, and Fire Chief J.E. Boileau.

| NTRODUCTION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Gerry St. Germain, MP who
presented the 75th Birthday Committee with a cheque from the Multi-cultural
event program in the amount of $4,500.00 as wel! as a cheque in the amount of
$12,000.00 from the Federal Government.

That the minutes of the Regular Council! Meeting held on November 2nd, 1987,
be taken as read and adopted.

DELEGATION:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay introduced Mr. Ken Cocke who then
made a presentation to Council! regarding his report on the £911 Emergency
Telephone System.

Seconded by Alderman Kery luk:

That City Council approve in principle the conclusions of the Task
Force on Emergency Telephone Systems (included with the RAAC report) and
the Cocke report, subject to a final review of the capital and operating
costs on completion of the second phase of the Feasibility Study.
