‘Please find enclosed for your information and retention copies of the fol-
‘lowing documents with Yegard to Contracts numbers 1 and 2:

1. Contract No. 1 . Construction of Floodboxes, Volume 1 of 2.

2. Contract No. 1 - Construction of Floodboxes, Volume 2 of 2,

3. Contract No. 2 - Dyke Reconstruction and Removal of Existing
Floodboxes.

4. Report on Final Design - Second Stage.

5. Copy of letter from Bland to Bonham regarding contract estimates.

-The contract documents are now in their final form and ready for construction.
We have, as you are aware, to resolve and acquire an agreement between the

City, District and the Provincial Government prior to application for funds
for these contracts. Mr. G. E. Simmons will be advising you on this matter,

Please note that in the attached letter from Crippen, contract costs are
based on a 1977 construction schedule and for purposes of discussion with
your Council we would request that you quote these estimates. This matter
is brought to your attention to avoid conflict which may arise if cstimates
are quoted from the Second Stage Final Report which vary slightly from the

attached letter,
