Reference is made to my memorandum of October 4th, 1976,

a copy of which is attached hereto, and to the Council recommendation

of October 4th, 1976. The subject of sanitary sewer service and
domestic water service to the two proposed developments on Broadway
was discussed at the Public Works Committee, and/or Industrial
Committee Meeting held October 12th, 1976. The Committee members
feel that the City should not be involved in financing sewer and
water extensions past potential developable properties, The
Committee does feel, however, that if the two developers are prepared
to install all the necessary watermain and sewer main, that provision
could be made to refund to the developers the aporoximate $40,060.00
amount required when the presently undeveloped properties proceed to
development. ‘The Comittee would alsc be interested in knowing the
projected taxes that the two proposed developments weuld pay to the
City, following development.

is located some 290 feet south of rezoning 2724-76.

Gevalopyent Council aaceed to Vian Reldings installing ths
wakeraain and sanitary sever main alona the frontane of their
property. The City agreoi to jastall the watervain Eron
Ringsway to che Vian property and dastall the sonitary sever
main flem Lhangan te the Viam Propercy., Viam Holdings Ltd,
also provided funds in trust equal to one half the estinated
cost of constructing Broadway and installing a storm sever,
once again for the length of their £rontaqe.
