Outdoor Pool Admission Rates

Up to this point the Leisure Activities committee has reviewed
admission and rental rates for the various recreation facilities
with recommendations to council. It is now necessary to do the
review for the outdoor pools as this is the only item which has
not been dealt with by council. In keeping with councils policy on
subsidization; the outdoor pools are to be subsidized by 75%.

1976 Outdoor Pool Revenue 1976 Outdoor Pool Operating Budget
$12, 500. $112,900.

This means a 88.9% subsidy. An increase in rates of 13.9% is
necessary to bring the subsidy to 75%. ‘

Children 30¢ +14% = 4 cents 35¢
Teens 45¢ +14% = 8 cents 55¢
Adults 60¢ 4+14% =11 cents 70¢
Family 85¢ +14% =12 cents. O5¢

The leisure Activities Committee wishes to put forth the above
recommendation for Councils consideration. .
