City of Port Coquitlam Capital Improvement Program Introduction This Capital Improvement Program (CIP) represents a framework for planning the maintenance and replacement of existing capital facilities and equipment and for planning major investments in building new public facilities. The CIP is essentially a schedule of capital projects to be funded by the City. Estimates of costs and funding sources are identified by year for each project. Included are detailed narrative information regarding the nature of each major project, including its location, scope, and justification. Projects meeting one of the following criteria are included in the plan: e infrastructure replacement funds for projects such as roads, bridges, intersections, water, sanitary sewer and drainage systems, however details and schedules of the actual projects to be undertaken are not available.
