MONTHLY SERVICE REPORT
PORT COQUITLAM
SEPTEMBER 1980

During the month of September, a total of 37 complaints were received, however,
41 dogs were impounded, of these, 27 were claimed.

The total complaints for the year to date is the same for 1979, however,
there has been a slight increase in the number of animals impounded. The
claim rate for the year to date has shown an increase from 46% to 52%.

The number of animals destroyed for the year to date is still showing a
slight decrease. .

During the month, the program "Pets Live Here Too!’ was tntroduced into the
Municipality, and was enthusiastically received,
