I have attached a “copy of a memorandum from the City Treasurer regarding programming

“costs for our new accounting machine. This. particular accounting machine is basically ©

a computer although it does not require full time programming staff once the basic
systems and programs are developed. We had originally estimated about $9,000.00 over

-a period of two years for setting up programs and to this point we have saved some

‘costs as we ave purchased programs from Port Moody and adapted them to our use. —
There is a possibility of further savings as outlined in Mr. Forcier's letter as there.
are five municipalities ‘that are interested in ongoing programming | work during a
setting up period. M:.:Forcier's memo explains ‘the proposal in detail and‘I would
