Members of Council DATE: May 31, 1974 FROM: Mayor Campbell Personally I believe it is rather difficult to expect any single segment of our society to operate on rates that were set in 1972. As we are all aware there has been great increases in the price of materials and the cost of labour. If we wish a good level of service with our taxi cabs in the City we must be prepared to pay for them. I would appreciate it if the Council would review their decision of last week as there is a delegation from the taxi firm who wish to speak.
