_ Alderman Laking. advised that, after ‘reviewing. the ‘situation: the’ Recreation ae
Committee recomends that. the: old. Timers! Hockey Club: relinquish, their. time

sin Dance in the Ice hrena. ir. Davies stated the. Club- really wanted this
dance in the Mabbett Room, and. Pointed: out that there. is already. a Mocaasin
Dance scheduled for the Winter Carnival. Alderman Ranger Suggested: that. the. ,
Marcos Club could rent. the Mabbett Room and: ask the Teen-agers to. join then;

however, the Recreation Director advised that. the Teen-age Drop- In Programme *

ds attended. by: approximately 100~ ~150 persons, with: a dance. being held every

third Friday, and that one ‘is scheduled for Narch 23rd. Mr. Dacre advised.

That the Marco's Hockey Club be. permitted to-use the Ice Arena. at. - the A

Port Recreation Centre either on Saturday, -March. 17th, Or. Saturday, March,
24th, 1973 for.a Moccasin Dance and that arrangements be made. with, the
other groups using * tat facility to relinguish their ice time from §:00
p.m. on the date selected. Carried.

Alderman Laking advised that the Marco's Ss Hockey Club would be. charged

the regular rate for rental of the Ice Arena.
