REQUIREMENTS AND STANDARDS The Permittee shall comply with the requirements and standards for short term storage of PCB wastes described in applicable sections of the Waste Management Act Special Waste Regulation (B.C. Reg. 63/88, O.C. 268/88). Requirements include but are not limited to the following: (i) Mosificari Existing Worl The Permittee shall submit to the Regional Waste Manager the plans and specifications of modifications to existing works for approval. Construction shall be carried out in accordance with the approved plans. (ii) Contingency Plan The approved contingency plan shall be reviewed at least once a year to maintain its currentness. Subsequent amendments to the existing plan shall be submitted to the Regional Waste Manager for approval. (ii) Inspecnions The Penmittee shall inspect the storage facility on a regular. basis, or as otherwise specified by the Speciai Waste Regulation and its amendments, to detect any irregulandes such as deteriorauon, leaks or spilis which may lead to the escape of special waste from the facility or may pose a threat to human health. Records of inspection shall be kept on site and shall be available for inspection by a Waste Management Officer.
