RESTAURANT & DANCE CLUB & ALL AGES The Youth Council discussed the benefits of a restaurant and/or dance club for all ages in the Port Coquitlam area either by an independent business person or availability being made through the City of Port Coquitlam. CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES: Moved by Councillor Keryluk: Seconded by Counciilor Gordon: That the minutes of the Public Hearing and Regular Council meeting held on April Sth, 1993 as amended, be taken as read and adopted. Whereas Community participation in local elections and voter turnouts is important; Whereas Community involvement in local government decision making is essential to a healthy democratic system; And whereas Community understanding of local government operations and the services it provides is of primary importance to meaningful participation at the local level, Now therefore I, Leonard M. Traboulay, Mayor of the Corporation of The City of Port Coquitlam, DO HEREBY PROCLAIM the week of April 19th to 25th, 1993, as "LOCAL GOVERNMENT AWARENESS WEEK ’93" in the City of Port Coquitlam.
