June 1, 1992/164 REPORTS = From the City Treasurer/Deputy Administrator, May 28th, 1992 regarding Fraser Valley Regional Library Funding Formula. Moved by Alderman Talbot: seconded by Aiderman Keryluk: That the City Council endorse the FVRL to continue to use the present funding formla of 50 percent lagged actual assessment and 50 percent population be used for the 1993 budget year. That City Council request the FVRL to undertake a review of the funding formula once the 1993 assessment information is available. Carried. From the City Engineer, May 28th, 1992 regarding the barrier installation along Jervis Street at Kitchener Footpath. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That Council approve the installation of approximately 40 metres of "No Posts" concrete guard rails on the east side of Jervis Street south of Kitchener Avenue at an estimated cost of $3,090. That $3,000 be allocated from the Public Works Special Capital Reserve Fund for this purpose. Carried. From the City Engineer, May 28th, 1992 regarding Bus Routes #160 and #190, Port Coquitlam Recreation Centre. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Aiderman Talbot: That Council approve the rerouting of #160 and #190 bus routes from the interlor parking lot of the Port Coquitlam Recreation Centre to Wilson/Kingsway/Kelly/Mary Hill Road. Carried. From the City Engineer, May 25th, 1992 regarding a Request for new Bus Stops, Citadel Drive and Pitt River Road. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Talbot: That Council approve the eleven new bus stop locations on Citadel Drive and on Pitt River Road as requested in the letter from BC Transit dated May 4, Carried.
