RESOLUTION ON FORCED EMPLOYMENT OF SINGLE PARENTS

WHEREAS single parents on welfare in B. c. must look for work,
regardless of the number of children they have, unless one child
under 6 months old, or there is sickness in the family; and

WHEREAS decent jobs and Childcare are not available for the vast
majority of these parents; and

WHEREAS raising children is valuable and important work,

THEREFORE BE It RESOLVED THAT
