Coquitlam, be received and that the Council meet as a Committee of the
Whole to study the recommendations set forth therein. Carried.

ewage lagoon-future
to property legally described as the Northerly portion of Lot C, Plan
19371, being the site of the present sewage lagoon, and recommending
that it be set aside for a complex of fields and baseball/softball

diamonds.

That as recommended in a report from the Parks & Recreation Committee,
October 18th, 1974, the Northerly portion of Lot C, Plan 19371 be set
aside for a complex of fields and baseball/softball diamonds.

Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution,
several members of Council stated they would like to have more information

on the subject before making a decision, and the following resolution

was proposed:

That the foregoing proposed resolution recommending that the Northerly
portion of Lot C, Plan 19371 be set aside for a complex of fields and
baseball/softball diamonds be tabled until the Parks & Recreation Committee

provides the Council with further information thereon. Carried.
Aldermen Laking, Thompson, and Traboulay voted against the resolution.

Hallowe'en Dance
to the fact that the Lions Club has withdrawn from sponsoring the Hallowe'en

Dance.

October 18th, 1974, the Recreation Department put on the Hallowe'en

dance in accordance with the Department's regulations. Carried.
