Status of the above + 1973 as well ag 1973 are attached hereto Many discussions have been held during the past several, nonths involving Tiny organizations such as Greater Vancouver Uster Board, C.?.R., B.C. Uydro, and Federal Department of Environment, Restrictions Placed by the Department of Envircoanent have precluded any crossing of the Coquitlan River hefore June 1974, Because of this it 4s planned to comm2nce construction of the fieat phase of the Project in April 1974 and to Comlate this phase in June 1974, In order to insure a minim of delay it has been recomm ended by Dayton & Knight thee tenders for the supply of pipe and valvea be arranged before calling for renders for the installation Project. Accordanply the following schedule has been entadlished: 1. Call tenders Pipe and valvee Novenber I$th, 1973. Tenders for pipe and valvea recetved Thuraday, Decenber Gth, 1973, Award contrace for supply of pipe and valves before end of year. 4. Call tenders for installation early in March 1974, 5. Tenders for installation received late in March 1974, 6. Award installation contract early in April 1974, 7. Phase I Project complete late tn June 1974, The Phase I project will ata fon to the G.V.W.D. 48" diameter supply line at Lougheed and Kingsvay. The City's proposed 39" diameter supply line will follow the Bury Street Toute to Wilson and continue east along Wilaon to Donald, The est- imated cost of this 30" diameter aupply line ta $220,000.60. Proposed that Phase XI will cormence south to the north end of Mary WLLL, -2.- : A separate report wild be aubaitted to you next veeck outlining Tecommended improvements to the booster purping station on Eastern Drive.
