2. Meridian Developrents Land Exchange

In ny subdaission to Previous meeting of Council vegarding the land exchange
with Meridian Deveioprents I did not Specifically mention the involvement

of two pieces of roadway which are pertinent in the transaction. |The c

obtained to pernft Sread_to be constructed pgrsktT to Cedar Drive hovever,

it has been considered better ingbo-Sick lots up on to the ditch and have
an interior road servicing theseevSts, division proposal therefore would be
to abandon the 66 foot_sezt allowance presently @tPyedag but to retain 20 feer

of this allowgsoe¥O pernit future ditch widening along Ce The layout
ds show the attached plan.

The other portion of roadway in question is the northerly end of Kennedy Street
which would be abondaned to pernit Che subdivision of the City owned land being
traded with Meridian Developzents. This subdivision layout is shown on the

second plan attached. The continuation of Kennedy through to Lincoln would be

wt c£f and Kennedy would be terminated with a cul-de-sac. 1 believe Council

are faciliar vith both of these strect layouts as they have both been previously
subritted Co Council, however, the solicitor for Mr. Spani has requested that
ke have offictal accestance by the CounclT for the abandonzent of these two pleces
OL road as they are sey to the developnent of Mrs opani’s Tand and a resolution

to Council would perait us to proceed to the next step in this land exchange.
